Matt is an astronomer at the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy. He is interested in public outreach and science communication as well as the evolution of galaxies over cosmic time. He received his PhD in 2011 from Cambridge University and has been a researcher at the University of Arizona and the Cavendish Lab at Cambridge before returning to the Institute of Astronomy to take on his current role of Outreach Astronomer
